Clusters of small white fuzzy flowers blooming in later Summer to Fall. Prefers moist soils and partial sun or shade. Ht. 2-4 ft. Attracts a wide variety of native pollinators. Self-seeds prolifically by the wind. Foliage not attractive to omnivores due to its bitter properties. Can cause “milk sickness” if consumed by dairy livestock.
