We are excited to offer you your first box: Spring. Everything in your box has been grown and made here on our homestead. All of its contents have been carefully crafted and selected for you and with your wellness in mind. Meaning your box is different from the next persons and is catered specially for you. The content in these boxes is solely ruled by nature and the seasons. Majority of the items you will find inside are best harvested or only available in the spring season. Large Box Includes:
Herbal Shrub: Drinking Vinegar- Health Tonic
A herbal shrub or drinking vinegar is an old fashioned way to preserve the seasons fruits and herbs to enjoy in the darkness of winter at a time with no refrigeration. Vinegar is cooling and great at quenching the thirst as well packed full of health benefits. Vinegar is a great menstrum for extracting plant medicines that is alcohol free. The flavours of fruits, herbs and sugar combined in vinegar makes for a sweet, refreshing drink. Shrubs can simply be drank plain but are most often used paired with gin or other spirits. It also makes a wonderful mocktail when paired with sparkling water or soda.

A bottle of our pretty pink, herbal shrub. Made from homegrown ingredients of red clover, wild rose, motherwort, rhubarb infused into apple cider vinegar then sweetened with local honey. Brewed in small seasonal batches to ensure the best of quality. This pretty pink herbal shrub is a great tonic for the heart, digestive, circulatory & nervous system. It helps to open & heal the heart and to lift your mood & spirits. Leaving you feeling lionhearted or like you just received a hug from your mom. It can help to calm you and reduce tension & anxieties. Packed full of beneficial vitamins and nutrients for heart & blood health. A wonderful spring gift after a long dreary winter. A warming and moisturizing rub to help sooth sore muscle aches and pains. Crafted from foraged poplar buds infused into olive and grapeseed oil paired with cayenne and cinnamon infused oil, locally made and harvested emu oil, local beeswax, clove and vitamin E oil. Gently rub this balm onto problem areas and then massage into the skin a little goes a long way with this balm. Can be used for arthritis, sprains, muscle aches, inflammation, cuts and joint pains.
Cautions: and avoid while using aspirin or other salicylate containing substances, barbitutates/sedatives, NSAIDs, anticoagulants, methotrexate, spironolactone, phenytoin, valproate medications.
Loose Leaf Tea Blend
In your box you will find some loose leaf the blends that we have made in small batches from herbs that are lovingly grown and harvested here on our land. Some of the herbs included are wild foraged herbs that we sustainably harvest and in return to the plants we help tend them and propagate them. Others are herbs we have grown and established on our own. You can incorporate these blends into your life by making your self a cup of tea but there is
also other ways you can consume them if this is not your style. You can do a larger hot or cold infusion. Take 1-2 tbsp of herb per 1 cup of almost boiling water. Pour the water over the herb and let it steep for ten minutes. This can also be done with cold water but let it infuse overnight. Then when it’s finished you can drink throughout the day. You can also store it in the fridge for later or add to broths for a nourishing soup. You can also add the dried herb directly into a soup or stew for extra nourishment,
Lymph Mover - Nutritious & Detoxifying Broth Booster
This loose leaf blend is made with all wild tended herbs that have been sustainably foraged from our homestead. Made from a combination of nutritious, bitter, detoxifying, lymphagogue and diuretic herbs. The herbs in this blend aid the lymphatic & digestive system while also reducing inflammation in the body. This blend is best enjoyed as an additive to homemade soup or bone broth. It can also be enjoyed as a tea or infusion but will have a slightly bitter taste to it. The bitter taste helps to stimulate secretions from your salivary glands and digestive organs to remove waste from the body. This blend contains foraged cleavers, nettle, wild violet leaf and flower, red clover, burdock root, dandelion root and yellow dock root. This is a great blend to use at or after times of low energy, sickness or injury. Enjoy this blend at times when you need to detox your body. Red Clover + Rose Hip Lard Soap
Handmade, cold processed soap made in small batches with our homegrown mangalitsa lard and herbal infused oils. Mangalitsa lard is a healthy fat with benefits not only for the inside but the outside of your body too. Your skin is your largest organ on your body so why not feed it something good for it? This soap will leave your skin feeling silky smooth and is incomparable to modern day fat free soaps. This soap features red clover infused oil and tea topped with rose hips. Red clover is mineral rich healing herb that is very beneficial in reducing inflammation of the skin like rashes, eczema and psoriasis.
Contains: Homegrown mangalitsa lard, coconut oil, red clover tea, red clover infused olive oil, sunflower oil. Our soap is essential oil, dye and chemical free.
Garden Markers
You may notice some fancy looking spoons in your box and you are maybe wondering how you are supposed to eat with a flat spoon. Well they are actually up-cycled garden and plant markers we have made from old unused spoons. Each spoon is hammered flat then each letter is stamped into the metal one at a time. Each garden marker is unique. Place in your garden or pots for some fun flare.
Seeds & Soil Pucks
Your box contains various types of flower, herb or vegetable seeds that we have grown and cultivated here on our homestead. Some of the plants have practical uses like medicinal or edible but some have more ornamental type uses like attracting pollinators. Just add water to the soil pucks and plant some of your seeds! We encourage you to research your seeds and learn about all the lovely benefits they carry. We also encourage you to plant, care for and harvest them all while building a relationship together. Get to know them in all their forms: seed, sprout, plant, root and decay and incorporate them into your daily lives and rituals.
Hand Dipped Candles
Our candles are carefully crafted with locally sourced beeswax, hand pressed flowers, homegrown herbs and wick that has been dipped repeatedly to make beautiful tapered candle sticks. Each candle takes hours to make and are done only in small batches at a time. They contain no harsh chemicals or additives that make it safe for you and your pets. Enjoy the natural scents of mother nature and please burn responsibly.

Below you will find a list of tinctures included in your box. Tinctures are a great sustainable way to get a lot out of a little from the plants around you. The benefits and nutrients are extracted slowly out of the plants or fungi over a lengthy period of time. You only need a few drops to reap the benefits instead of a large quantity in comparison to other ways of working with plants like in supplements, teas, essential oils etc. The shelf life of a tincture is also extremely long in comparison to the potency of dried herb. You can take your tinctures by placing a drop in your mouth, drop it into your morning tea, coffee or a short of water. Tinctures can also be used topically in some applications.

1 oz bottle of wildcrafted burdock + cleavers tincture. Made from sustainably foraged wild burdock root and fresh aerial components of cleavers. Plant extraction is made with Gluten-free alcohol. Great blood & lymphatic cleanser. Detox your body and help support the function of your liver & kidneys.

Yellow Dock Tincture
1 oz bottle of yellow dock tincture. Made from fresh yellow dock root from our homestead property in Northern Ontario, extracted slowly in gluten free alcohol. Yellow dock contains mildly laxative anthroquinone glycosides and bitter compounds that stimulate digestive enzymes. Anthroquinones are yellow-brown dyes that intestinal bacteria metabolize into anthranols. These in turn hinder the absorption of sodium, water and chloride in the bowel which help hydrate the stool. As well a stimulating the digestive system it helps to soothe the digestive lining making it useful against irritated bowels. The roots cooling and healing properties has also made it useful in treating a varieties of inflammation internally and externally in conditions like irritated coughs, eczema, psoriasis, arthritis and rheumatism. A great tonic of the digestive, lymphatic and respiratory systems within the body.

Cautions: Use care & moderation when working with this tincture, the anthroquinone glycosides in yellow dock can stain the colon yellow which is not a problem but could be shocking before a colonoscopy. Anthroquinones interfere with the bodies absorption of water and electrolytes so should not be used long term, generally no more than 1 or 2 weeks at a time. Yellow dock is contraindicated in irritable bowel, bowel obstructions, spastic colon, and pregnancy. It’s anthraquinone content is mild and should not cause gripping (intestinal cramps). High doses can cause dermatitis, nausea, and should be avoided in those with gout or a presdisposition to kidney stones (high oxalates).
Catnip Tincture
1 oz bottle of catnip tincture. Made from fresh homegrown arial components of catnip from our homestead property in Northern Ontario, Gluten-free alcohol and natural spring water collected by myself. Calming and soothing herb that promotes relaxation and a good sleep. It is cooling in fevers and encourages sweating to help heal the body. It will help relieve digestion issues by removing stuck air in the intestines and by easing tightness and inflammation in the gastrointestinal system.

1 oz bottle of wildcrafted valerian tincture. Made from homegrown and sustainably foraged valerian root from our homestead. Plant extraction is made with grain alcohol. Labeled as one of the most relaxing nervines, valerian is great for calming you down from anxiety and various types of tension. It helps get you to a relaxed state to help rid you of insomnia and enjoy a healing sleep. It has muscle relaxing effects on the smooth and skeletal muscles within the body making it great for cramping and nerve pain.

Crafted from foraged poplar buds infused into olive and grapeseed oil paired with cayenne and cinnamon infused oil, locally made and harvested emu oil, local beeswax, clove and vitamin E oil. Gently rub this balm onto problem areas and then massage into the skin a little goes a long way with this balm. Can be used for arthritis, sprains, muscle aches, inflammation, cuts and joint pains.

Your box contains various types of flower, herb or vegetable seeds that we have grown and cultivated here on our homestead. Some of the plants have practical uses like medicinal or edible but some have more ornamental type uses like attracting pollinators. Just add water to the soil pucks and plant some of your seeds! We encourage you to research your seeds and learn about all the lovely benefits they carry. We also encourage you to plant, care for and harvest them all while building a relationship together. Get to know them in all their forms: seed, sprout, plant, root and decay and incorporate them into your daily lives and rituals.

Loose Leaf Tea Blend
In your box you will find some loose leaf the blends that we have made in small batches from herbs that are lovingly grown and harvested here on our land. Some of the herbs included are wild foraged herbs that we sustainably harvest and in return to the plants we help tend them and propagate them. Others are herbs we have grown and established on our own. You can incorporate these blends into your life by making your self a cup of tea but there is
also other ways you can consume them if this is not your style. You can do a larger hot or cold infusion. Take 1-2 tbsp of herb per 1 cup of almost boiling water. Pour the water over the herb and let it steep for ten minutes. This can also be done with cold water but let it infuse overnight. Then when it’s finished you can drink throughout the day. You can also store it in the fridge for later or add to broths for a nourishing soup. You can also add the dried herb directly into a soup or stew for extra nourishment,
Lymph Mover - Nutritious & Detoxifying Broth Booster
This loose leaf blend is made with all wild tended herbs that have been sustainably foraged from our homestead. Made from a combination of nutritious, bitter, detoxifying, lymphagogue and diuretic herbs. The herbs in this blend aid the lymphatic & digestive system while also reducing inflammation in the body. This blend is best enjoyed as an additive to homemade soup or bone broth. It can also be enjoyed as a tea or infusion but will have a slightly bitter taste to it. The bitter taste helps to stimulate secretions from your salivary glands and digestive organs to remove waste from the body. This blend contains foraged cleavers, nettle, wild violet leaf and flower, red clover, burdock root, dandelion root and yellow dock root. Handmade, cold processed soap made in small batches with our homegrown mangalitsa lard and herbal infused oils. Mangalitsa lard is a healthy fat with benefits not only for the inside but the outside of your body too. Your skin is your largest organ on your body so why not feed it something good for it? This soap will leave your skin feeling silky smooth and is incomparable to modern day fat free soaps. This soap features red clover infused oil and tea topped with rose hips. Red clover is mineral rich healing herb that is very beneficial in reducing inflammation of the skin like rashes, eczema and psoriasis.

Our candles are carefully crafted with locally sourced beeswax, hand pressed flowers, homegrown herbs and wick that has been dipped repeatedly to make beautiful tapered candle sticks. Each candle takes hours to make and are done only in small batches at a time. They contain no harsh chemicals or additives that make it safe for you and your pets. Yellow dock contains mildly laxative anthroquinone glycosides and bitter compounds that stimulate digestive enzymes. Anthroquinones are yellow-brown dyes that intestinal bacteria metabolize into anthranols. These in turn hinder the absorption of sodium, water and chloride in the bowel which help hydrate the stool. As well a stimulating the digestive system it helps to soothe the digestive lining making it useful against irritated bowels. The roots cooling and healing properties has also made it useful in treating a varieties of inflammation internally and externally in conditions like irritated coughs, eczema, psoriasis, arthritis and rheumatism.
